Hosted Payment SDK

Deprecated

Starting April 30, 2022, new users can no longer install your legacy Hosted Payment SDK (HPSDK) integrations. Your new payments app should be launched by this time to ensure that there's no disruption with new user onboarding. Existing users will have until July 31, 2022 to switch to your payments app.

In early May 2022, Shopify will contact impacted users who haven't migrated to the new platform to help them adopt an alternative payments app and avoid payment processing disruptions. After July 31, 2022, all HPSDK integrations will be deprecated.

If you have a Hosted Payments SDK (HPSDK) integration or an Active Merchant integration, then you can migrate your existing integration by building a new payments app on Shopify's Payments Platform. You can review the details of your HPSDK integration from the Partner Dashboard by clicking on Gateway integrations. For Active Merchant integrations, refer to the Active Merchant library on GitHub.

After you've built a new payments app, inform merchants of how and when they can install the new payments app. If you're offering multiple payments apps, then tell merchants which app to install to replace their current integrations.

Shopify will contact you directly with additional information to transition legacy integrations to the Payments Platform.
