# Adding `createdAt` and `updatedAt` fields to `MetaobjectDefinition` objects

The [`createdAt`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/unstable/objects/metaobjectdefinition#field-MetaobjectDefinition.fields.createdAt) and [`updatedAt`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/unstable/objects/metaobjectdefinition#field-MetaobjectDefinition.fields.updatedAt) fields will become available on [`MetaobjectDefinition`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/unstable/objects/metaobjectdefinition) objects in API version `2026-04`
