# Category sorting updates

The default sorting for category pages have been updated to be ‘Most relevant’ for merchants, similar to search.

We have also streamlined the other sort options to ‘Newest’ or ‘Most installed’, to be in line with search. Merchants can expect a more personalized experience with the ordering of apps in categories and this update is reflective of that.
