# Deprecate customer\_payment\_method\_remote\_credit\_card\_create

The mutation for [CustomerPaymentMethodRemoteCreditCardCreate](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/2024-10/mutations/customerPaymentMethodRemoteCreditCardCreate) has been deprecated and is now hidden. This mutation, which was used to create remote credit card payment methods for customers, is no longer supported as of API version 2025-01. Developers should update their integrations to use alternative methods for handling customer payment methods.
