# Extended Authorization available in the API

As of 2021-01, apps can access Shopify Payments extended authorization fields by querying the [GraphQL Admin](https://shopify.dev/docs/admin-api/graphql/reference/orders/shopifypaymentsextendedauthorization) or [REST Admin](https://shopify.dev/docs/admin-api/rest/reference/orders/transaction) APIs.
