# Adding `publicDisplayName` field on `ShopPlan`

The `publicDisplayName` field is being added to the [`ShopPlan`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/objects/shopplan) object. This field provides the publicly displayable name of the shop's current plan when requesting [shop properties](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/queries/shop).

The `publicDisplayName` field returns a standardized set of plan names, similar to those currently provided by the [`displayName`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/objects/shopplan#field-displayName) field. This standardization aims to simplify and unify the plan names that are publicly exposed.

Additionally, the plan previously known as `Shopify` has been renamed to `Grow`, and this change is reflected in the `publicDisplayName` field.

Please note that the `displayName` field will be deprecated in the future. We recommend updating your applications to use the `publicDisplayName` field to ensure compatibility with future updates.
