# Shopify Dev MCP now supports Liquid

The Shopify Dev MCP server can now search for Liquid docs, and validate Liquid to catch common errors before deployment:

* **Liquid Documentation:** Your AI assistant can now search the complete Liquid API reference, which includes all objects, filters, and tags.
* **Code Validation:** The built-in theme-check integration identifies syntax errors and best practice violations in your generated code, helping you maintain high-quality standards.

If you're already using the Shopify Dev MCP server, Liquid support is automatically included in the latest version.
