The Hydrogen developer preview adds new capabilities to the toolkit and extends the ways developers can build Shopify storefronts:

* **Custom data on cart lines:** Attach engraving text, gift notes, or custom options to a cart line straight from the product form.
* **Skills that keep up with upgrades:** One command keeps the agent skills in your project in step with the installed Hydrogen version, and another checks them in CI.
* **UCP requests through your domain:** Agents using the Universal Commerce Protocol reach your store through your storefront's own domain.
