# verification​Session​Redirect

mutation

Requires `write_payment_sessions` access scope.

Redirects the buyer to the given URL for the verification session. Shopify will redirect the buyer to the URL where the 3DS authentication will take place when verifying the buyer's credit\_card.

## Arguments

* id

  [ID!](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/payments-apps/latest/scalars/ID)

  required

  The verification session ID.

* redirect​Url

  [URL!](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/payments-apps/latest/scalars/URL)

  required

  The absolute HTTPS URL, including a host, that Shopify will redirect the buyer to for 3DS authentication. The URL must not contain ASCII control characters, spaces in the scheme or authority, or user information before the hostname, such as a username or password. Spaces in the path, query string, or fragment are allowed. Applicable to verifications with the credit card payment method only.
