Policies
During marketplace configuration, you define policies that merchants must accept to participate in the marketplace. Policies can be easily configured and managed, crafting a path forward through the entire marketplace experience.
In this guide, you'll learn how to set policies for your marketplace.
Types of policies

Terms of Service | Terms of use to participate in the channel configured by the Shopify Partner. |
Fulfillment hold periods | A buyer remorse period during which a merchant must wait prior to fulfilling orders. |
Selling fees | Commission required on orders or product categories sold through the sales channel. |
Shipping | Merchants must adhere to terms regarding shipping orders as defined by the Shopify Partner. |
Product Attributes | Price, availability, image, description, and title are attribute requirements for publishing on the marketplace. |
Returns | Terms for handling returns for orders. |
How to set policies

Select Setup Policies in Marketplace policies.
Set policies on the Policies page.
Click Save to save your policies.
