## Auto-correction

Theme Check can correct this error using the `--auto-correct` flag. When the flag is specified, Theme Check creates the missing directories.

## Disabling this check

This check is safe to [disable](/docs/storefronts/themes/tools/theme-check/configuration), and is disabled by default when you run the Shopify CLI 3.x [`build`](/docs/api/shopify-cli/app/app-build) command on an app that contains a theme app extension.
