# Braintree is now available as a CustomerPaymentMethodRemoteInput

As of API version 2022-07, an input field for Braintree has been added to the [`CustomerPaymentMethodRemoteInput`](https://shopify.dev/api/admin-graphql/2022-07/input-objects/CustomerPaymentMethodRemoteInput) object, which is used by the `customerPaymentMethodRemoteCreate` mutation. This field can be used to help you migrate Braintree subscription contracts to Shopify.
