# Revised the App Design Guidelines (Winter 2024)

We've introduced the following changes to improve and update the [App Design Guidelines](https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/design):

* The full-screen mode guidance has been revised and renamed to [max modal](https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/design-guidelines/app-structure#max-modal).
* The admin app block directive regarding the [`summary`](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-extensions/2024-01/components/other/adminblock#adminblockprops-propertydetail-summary) property has been removed as it is no longer applicable.
