About the Payment Customization Function API
The Payment Customization API enables you to rename, reorder, and sort the payment methods available to buyers during checkout.

Limitations and considerations
Anchor link to section titled "Limitations and considerations"- The Payment Customization API doesn't currently support draft orders.
- You can't rename payment methods that have logos as a name, such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. This includes all wallets.
- You can remove wallets from the Express section of checkout, but you can't reorder them.
