# POS UI Extensions: Modal update

In POS version 9.30, the POS UI Extensions modal will be enhanced to prevent accidental dismissals. You won't be able to dismiss the modal by swiping down or tapping outside of it. This update is designed to improve user experience and ensure that important information remains accessible.
