# Add shop\_id to app/scopes\_update webhook payload

When you update your app's scopes, the [`app/scopes_updates` webhook payload](https://shopify.dev/docs/api/webhooks/latest?reference=toml\&accordionItem=webhooks-app-scopes_update) now includes the shop ID (`shop_id`).
