[Shopify Collective](https://www.shopify.com/collective) lets merchants connect with other Shopify stores and sell each other's products in Shopify.

Retailers can import complementary products directly from suppliers using Shopify, and start selling them without any inventory costs or commitments. Suppliers can get discovered by retailers, create price lists and share products for them to sell.

## How it works

1. Suppliers create product listings and share them through Shopify Collective price lists.
2. Retailers browse and import products from supplier price lists.
3. When a buyer places an order, the following events occur:
   - The order is automatically split and routed to relevant suppliers.
   - Suppliers fulfill orders directly to end buyers.
   - Payments are automatically handled between retailers and suppliers.

## Key features

- **Product sharing**: Suppliers can selectively share products with retailers through price lists.
- **Inventory sync**: Inventory is updated in real-time across all connected stores.
- **Automated order management**: Orders are automatically split and routed to suppliers.
- **Integrated shipping**: Suppliers handle fulfillment directly to end buyers.
- **Automated payments**: Payments between retailers and suppliers are handled automatically.
