The Hydrogen developer preview adds new capabilities to the toolkit and extends the ways developers can build Shopify storefronts:
- API version 2026-10: Hydrogen now uses the 2026-10 versions of the Storefront API and Customer Account API.
- Customer Accounts in the React Router template: New projects come with sign-in and order history, and local HTTPS registers the Customer Account URLs for you.
- Consent-aware analytics destinations: Every analytics destination waits for consent, then receives the events that happened before it was registered, so nothing is lost while the shopper decides.
