The Hydrogen developer preview adds new capabilities to the toolkit and extends the ways developers can build Shopify storefronts:
- Custom data on cart lines: Attach engraving text, gift notes, or custom options to a cart line straight from the product form.
- Skills that keep up with upgrades: One command keeps the agent skills in your project in step with the installed Hydrogen version, and another checks them in CI.
- UCP requests through your domain: Agents using the Universal Commerce Protocol reach your store through your storefront's own domain.
