Shopify AI Toolkit: Connect your AI tools to the Shopify platform

The Shopify AI Toolkit is now available. With the Toolkit, you can build apps using Shopify's documentation, API schemas, and code validation, and manage your Shopify store through the CLI's store execute capabilities.

We're also releasing a new plugin to install the Toolkit. The plugin auto-updates, so your agent stays up to date as we release new capabilities.

Get started

Plugin installation takes just one or two steps on supported tools. For instructions, see Shopify AI Toolkit.

If you'd prefer, you can also set up the Toolkit via agent skills or the Dev MCP server instead of the plugin.
