The shopify_forms schema captures events generated by Shopify Forms. It supports form interaction reporting by form, page type, form type, and product context when available.

Anchor to Use casesUse cases

Form interactions: Group form_views and form_submissions by form_id to compare views against submissions per form.
Conversion by type: Compare form_conversion_rate by form_type to see which form types convert best.
Form placement: Break down form activity by form_page_type to show where forms were displayed.

Anchor to form_type form_type: How the Shopify Form was displayed on the page, with values Floating, Inline, Overlay, and Other.
Anchor to hour hour: Use this field to group Shopify Forms activity by hour.
Anchor to hour_of_day hour_of_day: Hour of day the data was recorded
Anchor to minute minute: Use this field to group Shopify Forms activity by minute.
Anchor to month month: Use this field to group Shopify Forms activity by month.
Anchor to month_of_year month_of_year: Month of year the data was recorded
Anchor to product_id product_id: The unique Shopify identifier for the product associated with Shopify Forms activity. One product can include multiple variants. Use it with product_title to show readable labels.
Anchor to quarter quarter: Use this field to group Shopify Forms activity by quarter.
Anchor to second second: Use this field to group Shopify Forms activity by second.
Anchor to shop_id shop_id: The unique Shopify identifier for your store. Use shop_id with shop_name to show readable store labels.

Anchor to product_status product_status: The product's current publishing state, with values Active, Archived, Draft, Suspended, and Unlisted.

A date value truncated to day precision.

DAY_OF_WEEK

A day within a week, used for weekday-based grouping and filtering.

IDENTITY

A unique identifier for a Shopify resource such as a customer, product, or order.

STRING

A sequence of characters representing text data.

HOUR_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to hour precision.

HOUR_OF_DAY

An hour within a day, typically represented as an integer from 0 to 23.

MINUTE_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to minute precision.

MONTH_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a month.

MONTH_OF_YEAR

A month number within a year.

QUARTER_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a fiscal quarter.

SECOND_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to second precision.

WEEK_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a week.

WEEK_OF_YEAR

A week number within a year.

YEAR_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a year.

ARRAY

A list of values. The element type appears inside angle brackets, such as ARRAY<STRING>.
