# customerPaymentMethodSendUpdateEmail - admin - MUTATION

## Description
Sends a link to the customer so they can update a specific payment method.

### Access Scopes
`write_customers` access scope.


## Arguments
* [customerPaymentMethodId](/docs/api/admin/2025-01/scalars/ID): ID! - The payment method to be updated.
* [email](/docs/api/admin/2025-01/input-objects/EmailInput): EmailInput - Specifies the payment method update email fields. Only the 'from' and 'bcc' fields are accepted for input.


## Returns
* [customer](/docs/api/admin/2025-01/objects/Customer): Customer The customer to whom an update payment method email was sent.
* [userErrors](/docs/api/admin/2025-01/objects/UserError): UserError! The list of errors that occurred from executing the mutation.
