inventory_transfers

The inventory_transfers schema captures the line items on inventory transfers, before and while stock moves. It represents planned movement between origin and destination locations, with enough detail to trace each transfer back to its source record.

Anchor to Use casesUse cases

Planned movement: Group ordered_quantity by inventory_origin_id and inventory_destination_id to show planned movement between locations.
Transfer complexity: Count transfer_line_item_count by inventory_transfer_id to rank transfers by how many distinct line items they move.
Integration view: Compare unique_items_transferred by transfer_app_name to split distinct transferred items by integration.

Anchor to day day: Groups transfers by the day they were created.
Anchor to day_of_week day_of_week: Groups transfers by creation weekday, with values Monday through Sunday.
Anchor to document_uri document_uri: The Shopify path that identifies the inventory transfer, such as /transfers/12345. Use document_uri to filter to a specific transfer or include a transfer reference in results.
Anchor to hour hour: Groups transfers by the hour they were created.
Anchor to hour_of_day hour_of_day: Groups transfers by creation hour of day, with values 0 through 23.
Anchor to inventory_destination_id inventory_destination_id: The unique Shopify identifier for the location receiving the inventory. Use it with destination_name to show readable labels.

Anchor to inventory_transfer_line_item_id inventory_transfer_line_item_id: The unique Shopify identifier for a line item within an inventory transfer. Use inventory_transfer_line_item_id to filter to one specific transferred item row.
Anchor to minute minute: Groups transfers by the minute they were created.
Anchor to month month: Groups transfers by the month they were created.
Anchor to month_of_year month_of_year: Groups transfers by creation month of year, with values 1 through 12.
Anchor to product_variant_id product_variant_id: The unique Shopify identifier for the product variant on the transfer line item. Use it with product_variant_title or product_variant_sku to show readable labels.
Anchor to quarter quarter: Groups transfers by the quarter they were created.

Anchor to inventory_item_cost inventory_item_cost: The cost recorded for one unit of the inventory item, in your store's currency.

A day within a week, used for weekday-based grouping and filtering.

A sequence of characters representing text data.

HOUR_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to hour precision.

HOUR_OF_DAY

An hour within a day, typically represented as an integer from 0 to 23.

IDENTITY

A unique identifier for a Shopify resource such as a customer, product, or order.

MINUTE_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to minute precision.

MONTH_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a month.

MONTH_OF_YEAR

A month number within a year.

QUARTER_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a fiscal quarter.

SECOND_TIMESTAMP

A timestamp truncated to second precision.

WEEK_TIMESTAMP

A date value representing the start of a week.

WEEK_OF_YEAR

A week number within a year.

YEAR_TIMESTAMP
